MY WAY WITH ART

I hold a BFA from Konstfack, Stockholm University. After my graduation in 2017 I took a break from art and went on a spiritual quest.

With deeper purpose and a renewed relationship to creativity, I am coming back to art.

I divide my artistic work into two different areas.

Painting and Transdiciplinary art.

I started painting as a kid and come from a realist/surrealistic expression working with mainly traditional techniques in oil, gouache, drawing.

In my twenties I started to observe the effects that painting certain motives, writing songs in certain ways had upon my life. This became the entry point for me into a first wave of waking up to a spiritual dimension of reality.

With that I moved my creative focus away from the motives, the created objects and started to experiment with the creative process as an artwork in itself.

I began to see making art as a transformational process with the potential of manifesting and healing through alchemy and ritual. By allowing all of my creative expressions to come together, as a way to explore the nature of reality, I began to create transdiciplinary art in the form of ritual rooms.

This journey of artistic and spiritual exploration made me put painting to the side for a while.

But in this present cycle of life I am returning to painting, as I found it to be profoundly joyful and nurturing, just to be in the state of dancing with colors landscapes into being.

What started as artistic explorations of ritual rooms has also become many years of integrating ceremony as a part of life. You find more about my transformational work here.
