In the fall of 2026, Ida is set to release Från Soluppgång till Soluppgång, a 12-track double album accompanied by an exhibition of paintings inspired by the songs.

She also works as a coach and ceremonialist, creating spaces for people to explore deeper layers of themselves, their relationships and their connection to the living world. Learn more

FRÅN SOLUPPGÅNG TILL SOLUPPGÅNG

Från Soluppgång till Soluppgång is a 12-track album in Swedish that grew out of eight years of singing, ceremony and life in close relationship with nature.

The songs were never written to become an album. They were created to be sung in particular places and moments — in forests, around fires, under stars, at dusk or dawn, at harvest moon, in grief, in surrender. Over the years they gathered into a cycle moving from one sunrise to the next.

Now, for the first time, these songs are being recorded and shared beyond the spaces where they were born.

The album is accompanied by a series of paintings inspired by the same landscapes from which those songs has grown.

Release date is not set but expected at the end of 2026.

Art

I work primarily with painting in an experimental style that I developed on my own. I am creating dreamlike and semi-abstract landscapes where light, weather, water, forests and skies become ways of exploring inner states and experiences.

My paintings often develop alongside my music, rather than as illustrations of it. They emerge from the same places, experiences and questions, and sometimes become part of larger works where music, painting and live performance meet.

Painting is for me a life-long relationship, a spiritual dojo, a secret play room an act of both manifestation and a profound act of self care.

I am educated as an artist with a BFA from Konstfack University and I work from my studio in Ytterjärna, Sweden.
